CABO DEL SOL COURSE
The Cabo Del Sol Course, formerly known as the Desert Course, is a stunning blend of desert and ocean landscapes in the Baja area. Since 2001, golfers have been captivated by its canyon-like arroyos and challenging layout. The course offers breathtaking ocean views from all 18 holes, complemented by varying elevation changes and dramatic bunkering, making it an integral part of your Cabo Del Sol golf experience.
In November 2023, we introduced six newly designed holes by Fry/Straka Design Group, which are located on the mountainside of the property showing expansive views of the Sea of Cortez. At the same time, we opened a provisional Cabo Del Sol Club House Facility and Driving Range. Please reference the map below for directions to this facility from the Four Seasons / Cove Club Gatehouse.
Tournament Format
Playing in teams of 4 persons. The format is scramble by team of 4 persons and the handicap will be calculated the total of the handicap by the team with a 35% of the handicap. Your handicap needs to be register with a GHIN number, in case you don´t have one you will need to prove your level of golf with a letter of a professor with a maximum of 20 of handicap.
There is only one category with three trophies and the winner couple will be the one with the lowest score.
Tee Marks

Game Format:
Team of 4 players form the team and the team will choose the best ball of the team. You will write down the team´s score on each hole. The maximum score in a hole is double bogey.
*In case that a golf player doesn’t have a player you can hit an extra ball in replacement of this player, in a Par 3 is going to be the first shot for the closest to the pin, also in the dynamic of precision drive or longest drive.
TIE
In case of a tie, the winner will be the team with the lowest handicap. If the tie still, the scorecards will be reviewed and the decision will be made considering the gross score, if it still persist it will be the first hole until the end.
Raffle
The golf player needs to be present at the time of the closing ceremony to get the prizes.
Rules
The golf tournament will be played considering the USGA and local golf rules of Solmar Golf Links golf course. If you have any doubt with a rule, the organization will be happy to help you.
It is important to follow the rules of the golf course. In case of a clear modification in the scorecard by one of the players, the team may be disqualified and not able to earn a prize.
Suspension of the tournament
In case of a bad weather, the golf tournament might be suspended and the results will be calculated with most of the golf holes that were played by most of the groups
Logistic of the Tournament
We ask you to follow the timing in order to finish the tournament on time. The tournament should be played in 4:30 hours the most.

The golf player is allow to bring only 1 companion In case you bring one more guest, it is important to consider a fee of US$400 (MXN $7,600)as a payment before you go to the cocktail. There is going to be a guest list.
Your Fee for the tournament includes food and drinks at the golf course, welcome kit, prizes, raffle, and 3 hour cocktail of free bar at Esperanza Resort with appetizers.
